Tom lost in the woods.

Tom inside the stump of a large Sequoia. Notice the burnt wood. The Sequoias like forest fires so the rangers set controlled burns every so often.

Chipmonk view of the Sequoias.

Momma bear and two cubs playing around in Crescent Meadow.
Moro Rock in the Sierras at Sequoia National park. Elevation 6725 feet at the top.
Too hot to climb those little steps. Brian and Susie climbed it on an earlier visit. A little scary since it is a 1000 feet vertical drop on the other side.

General Sherman Sequoia. The largest living tree in the world. the trunk is 103 feet around at the bottom.
Another view of General Sherman from the ground up.

Jen and Tom on the porch of Montecito-Sequoia Lodge with  Kings canyon in the background.
